Indoor Air Quality Assessments

Occupational hygiene also referred to as Industrial Hygiene can be defined as the evaluation, probability, understanding and communication of environmental stressors in or arising from a workplace environment. These stressors may impact the health, safety and well-being of workers and the community. Occupational hygiene can be an overwhelming source of concern for companies if it is not monitored to prevent hazards associated with the work environment.

Cambium offers a number of services to help you mitigate workplace health hazards. Our environmental engineers and occupational health and safety team work closely with architects and designers, government agencies, institutional businesses, insurance companies, and industrial manufacturing companies to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, communicate and control environmental hazards in the workplace. We can ensure that the work conducted meets the needs of your business, the worker (including your Joint Health and Safety Committee if need be), and the requirements of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act prepared by the Ministry of Labour (and other associated acts/regulations).
