National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI)
The National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) program is a federal program enforced under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). This program is designed to allow the public access to a database of air emissions information. NPRI reporting is required if – in the reporting year – employees worked in excess of 20,000 hours at a facility and various specific substances of concern were manufactured, processed or otherwise used at a specific concentration in quantities greater than a set threshold.
